Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items with precision and attention to detail
Cook and plate dishes according to established recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines
Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards
Support catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food efficiently
Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations
Experience
Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service within a fast-paced environment
Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
Experience with meal preparation, food safety protocols, and food handling standards
Exposure to fine dining or catering environments enhances your ability to meet high standards of quality
Knowledge of menu planning, food industry best practices, and culinary techniques is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting
Availability for early morning, evenings. and weekends required
