Petit Potato is a developing brand, and we are now hiring for its third location in Downtown Toronto.
We are seeking passioned individuals to join our new team as line cook/prep cook the Bay St. location. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. If you are enthusiastic about working in the food industry and thrive in a fast-paced restaurant setting, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the head chef
- Follow recipes and prepare ingredients for menu items
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and adhere to proper food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food production
- Monitor food stock levels and communicate inventory needs to management
Skills
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food safety guidelines
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player with excellent communication abilities
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
