We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests.
Duties
Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to established recipes and standards.
Cook menu items to perfection while maintaining high standards of food presentation.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Follow all food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality control.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with food service operations.
Strong skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling ingredients.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within the kitchen staff.
