Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced brunch restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure exceptional service and customer satisfaction. Experience cooking with Eggs a bonus.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas. Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Help in maintaining equipment and utensils in good working condition.

Skills

Proficient in kitchen BRUNCH operations and meal preparation techniques. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices within the food industry. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen. Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
