We seek a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates efficiently and that our guests receive high-quality meals. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, a strong understanding of food safety practices, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage spaces.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for guests.
Assist in the inventory management of food supplies, reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Help train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures and equipment use.
Qualifications
2 years of experience in food preparation or cooking in a restaurant or food service environment is required.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in meal preparation.
