Job Description

Line Cook/Prep Cook Positions -part time and full time

  • Preparing food according to recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications
  • Possibility of Cross training for FOH- experience in FOH an asset-not a deal breaker
  • Operating standard kitchen equipment and knives with caution
  • Restock all items as needed throughout the shift
  • Maintaining clean and organized stations
  • Following FIFO method to maximize product freshness
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned
  • Experience with Flat top & Fryer an asset
  • Maintaining health and safety standards of the restaurant
  • Food Handlers is an asset but not required
  • Experience in working in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with Plant Based Menus a PLUS!
  • Work with speed, efficiency, accuracy
  • Ok with also Washing dishes as we do work as a team when it comes to this
  • Be able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time, including up and down stairs at times.
  • Prep-Chopping, peeling, cutting.
  • Some Lifting required at times 10- 30lbs
  • Weekend Availability & Nights- A Must
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Experience:
  • Prep: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
