We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. Duties
Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring
Cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality
Assist with food preparation tasks such as marinating, portioning, and plating
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Handle food safely and responsibly, adhering to proper food handling procedures
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment
Dishwashing with cooking/prep will be required.
Must possess the ability to multitask.
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or related roles within a restaurant or food service setting
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Strong understanding of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and follow instructions accurately
Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating customer-focused service skills.
