Duties
Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
Prepare food items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met.
Cook menu items to order, ensuring timely service during peak hours.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.
Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
Participate in training sessions on food handling and safety procedures.
Requirements
Week Day Availability
Can find reliable transportation to work (There is no public transit that goes to the ski hill)
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new techniques in meal preparation.
