We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring variety and quality
Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, and marinating
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to maintain safety standards
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed
Participate in catering events as required, assisting with meal preparation and serving
Experience
Previous experience as a line cook is preferred
Background in the food industry with restaurant or kitchen experience is essential
Culinary experience with strong knife skills is highly valued
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Experience in meal preparation, cooking, and catering services is a plus
