We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our hard working kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety and communication. This role is essential in maintaining a smooth kitchen operation and delivering exceptional meals to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and plating guides.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including cutting, slicing, and measuring, sauces, proteins.
Ensure all food handling and safety regulations are followed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Work efficiently and communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including setup and breakdown of workstations and the kitchen as a whole.
Show up on time, have a good attitude, and willingness to work!
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Experience with meal preparation and handling various types of food is a plus.
