• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

• Prepare ingredients

• Prepare dishes to order

• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment

• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly

• Check quality of ingredients

• Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages

• Food preparation and following a recipe

• Keep to food cost guidelines

Requirements

• Experience as cook

• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods

• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures

• Ability to work in a team

• Very good communication skills

• Ability to follow recipes and directions from supervisors

• High school diploma or equivalent; Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage

• Full Covid-19 Vaccine

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per weekSalary: $16.00-$17.00 per hourAdditional pay:

Experience:

• Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
