We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of food preparation and safety standards, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest quality. This role is essential in supporting the kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Follow all health and safety guidelines in food handling and preparation.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Passion for cooking and a desire to learn more about meal preparation within the food industry.
