We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, cooking, and delivering excellent food service to our guests. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry.
Duties
Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to restaurant standards
Cook menu items with attention to quality, presentation, and timely service
Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines
Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
Support the kitchen team during busy periods, ensuring efficient workflow
Ensure all food served meets safety and sanitation standards
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional dining experiences
Skills
Experience in serving, food preparation, and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment
Strong understanding of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards
Knowledge of kitchen equipment and basic culinary techniques
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is a plus but not required; eagerness to learn is valued highly
