As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment. Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene in food preparation. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and cooking methods is essential. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is required. Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
