We are seeking a part time Line Cook/Prep Cook to join Sushi Blossom. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and assisting with menu execution. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Assist with menu planning and daily meal preparation
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Handle food safely and adhere to sanitation guidelines
Assist with plating and presentation of dishes for service
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Skills
Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
Previous restaurant work experience is an asset
Knowledge of menu planning and food industry standards
Ability to handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices
Excellent food handling, cooking, and serving skills
Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
