Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation according to recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
Assist with plating dishes for service, ensuring timely delivery to guests
Support the kitchen team during busy hours by maintaining a smooth workflow
Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
Assist in inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of meal preparation and food service operations
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
