Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure that food is prepared efficiently and meets our standards for taste and presentation. A passion for food and a commitment to food safety are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Cook menu items according to recipes and specifications, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or a similar role is required Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations related to food handling. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 44 per week
