Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food handling practices comply with safety regulations. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination and ensure the highest quality of food. Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal presentation. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
