We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the timely preparation of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
Cook and plate dishes according to restaurant standards and recipes
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, including sanitizing surfaces and utensils
Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of supply needs
Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple tasks simultaneously
Ensure all meals are prepared in a timely manner to meet service standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and high-quality food presentation
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent understanding of meal preparation and food industry standards
Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with customer service expectations
Kitchen experience that includes food service operations, meal prep, and maintaining cleanliness standards
