Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team specializing in Filipino cuisine.

This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent knife skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience working in Filipino restaurant is preferred but not required for highly motivated individuals eager to learn.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards Cook and assemble dishes with attention to presentation and quality Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices Assist in plating and serving dishes during busy service hours Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment Support the team with additional kitchen tasks as needed to ensure timely service

Requirements

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Strong understanding of food safety protocols and sanitation procedures Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
