We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and be skilled in food preparation and safety practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall dining experience of our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled and stored properly.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.
Participate in daily cleaning tasks to uphold hygiene standards within the kitchen.
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred.
Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment operation.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
