We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and a commitment to maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare food to the highest standards, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion sizes.
Maintain knowledge of the menu and special items to prepare food and answer servers questions.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of orders.
Follow food safety and cleanliness protocols to maintain a safe and organized kitchen.
Assist with the preparation of ingredients.
Ensure that the kitchen environment is conducive to high-quality production while adhering to health and safety standards.
Complete any additional tasks as assigned by Manager
Ideal Candidate:
Certification of: Food Handler, Food Safe, SafeCheck or equivalent
Proven experience as a line cook or similar role in a busy kitchen.
Strong culinary skills and ability to work under pressure.
A passion for food and dedication to creating exceptional dining experiences.
Ability to collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or carry up to 25 lbs.
