We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for meal preparation, cooking, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our kitchen operations and providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist with meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients. Ensure all food is handled safely and meets food safety regulations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages. Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality. Help maintain equipment and utensils in good working condition.

Skills

Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Attention to detail in food presentation and quality control. Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and kitchen demands.
