We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking menu items, and ensuring food quality and safety standards are maintained. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, contributing to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble ingredients for menu items, following standardized recipes and presentation guidelines
Cook dishes efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple orders simultaneously
Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent contamination and spoilage
Ensure timely delivery of orders
Requirements
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred but not required; training will be provided
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety protocols
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings as needed
Basic understanding of serving, meal preparation, and food handling practices within the food industry

Pay: $18.25-$22.42 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
