Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble components for menu items following established recipes and standards Cook and plate dishes efficiently while maintaining high quality and presentation standards Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation methods Ensure all food handling practices adhere to safety regulations and sanitation standards Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and service Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including knife skills and equipment upkeep Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or culinary environments is highly preferred Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling techniques Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation methods Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and food presentation in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with dietary department standards or dietary aide experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude towards serving guests

Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
