Position: Line Cook Location: Besharam bar and grill Summary: As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent preparation and timely delivery of high-quality dishes that meet the restaurant\'s standards. Your role will involve working collaboratively with other Cooks to prepare ingredients, maintain a clean workspace, and adhere to kitchen health and safety regulations. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Memorize and follow standard recipes, policies, procedures, and portion sizes to ensure consistency in meal preparation.
- Prepare ingredients and components of each recipe on the restaurant\'s menu to meet the expected quality standards.
- Maintain the freshness of the products by rotating old products out and ensuring proper storage of the items.
- Work with a team of Cooks to handle varying levels of activity, including timely delivery of dishes during peak periods.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of your workspace and follow all kitchen health and safety regulations and guidelines to prevent contamination and accidents.
- At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen procedures and equipment operation.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

- On call
- Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
