Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation and a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards. Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of food handling. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Support the head chef with any additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing menus or procedures. A passion for cooking and commitment to delivering quality dishes.
