Overview We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a keen eye for detail. Duties - Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and storing food items - Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to recipes and quality standards - Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment - Ensure cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area - Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages - Help with receiving deliveries and storing perishable items properly Qualifications - Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures - Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Willingness to learn and take direction from the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager - Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
