Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and friendly bilingual line cook/prep cook to join our food service team. This role requures French and English. The candidate will prepare food items, and ensure a clean and efficient restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food preparation, cashiering, and hospitality operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble food items such as wraps and sandwhiches following established recipes and safety standards Deep fry fast food items Grill burgers and other items Manage time effectively to ensure timely order completion during busy periods
Possibly:

Operate POS systems, including Square POS, for order processing and payment handling Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties Support team members in daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow

Skills

Must have line cook experience in fast food (deep fry, grill, food assembly, prep) Familiarity with POS systems, especially Square POS, is a plus Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills for teamwork and guest interactions
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
