We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assist with meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment
Assist with plating and garnishing dishes for service
Maintain proper food handling procedures during all stages of meal preparation
Support the kitchen team in organizing supplies, stocking stations, and cleaning work areas
Ensure timely delivery of orders to meet service expectations
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is highly desirable
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
