Our small town pub with a busier than average kitchen is looking a full-time cook.

You must be able to work alone or as a team during busy lunch hours.

You are organized and are able to prioritize your daily duties.

Happy working mostly nights & weekends up to 35 hrs per week

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards. Ensure all food is handled safely and in compliance with health regulations. Assist in meal preparation and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food. Monitor food inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Maintain a positive and efficient work environment while serving customers.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a restaurant environment Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment Excellent teamwork and communication skills Previous experience in food service or related roles is a plus
