Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing delicious meals and ensuring food quality meets our standards.
Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook menu items
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor food stock and place orders when there are shortages
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or relevant position in the food industry
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.66-$20.00 per hour
