We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Fram to table, food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our customers.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Help with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of shortages.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties at the end of shifts.
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for handling food.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
