We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent cooking skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
Duties
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and consistency
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure sanitation
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Support the team during busy service hours by ensuring timely food delivery
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Ensure all food is stored properly to prevent spoilage and contamination
Requirements
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Understanding of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
