We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a passion for delivering excellent food service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to ensure health standards are met
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
Support the team during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially within a restaurant or food industry setting
Knowledge of kitchen safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary standards
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
Passion for delivering exceptional food service and creating a welcoming dining atmosphere

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
