We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our guests.
Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
Cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of the kitchen before and after service.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations is essential.
Skills in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation are highly valued.
A background in the food industry or previous kitchen experience will enhance your application.
