We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations throughout the shift. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring proper food handling practices are followed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, communicating needs to management as necessary. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.

Pay: $15.00-$21.45 per hour
