Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing delicious meals to our customers.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management Participate in daily cleaning tasks, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or kitchen environment Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in the food industry A passion for serving high-quality meals and ensuring customer satisfaction Previous experience in food service or related roles is preferred but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
