Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items
Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
Ensure that all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and delivery
Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if necessary
