We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall food service process. Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to established recipes and standards
Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Cook menu items with attention to presentation, quality, and consistency
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in accordance with health regulations
Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting preferred
Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices in the food industry
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality meal preparation
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
Basic kitchen experience with familiarity in using kitchen equipment and tools
