We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.
Duties
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
Assist in meal preparation by following recipes and cooking instructions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
