Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and marinating.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Ensure all food safety and handling procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Participate in the training of new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field.
