The Line Cook - Fryer & Grill is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items according to company standards, ensuring food quality, consistency, and safety. This role supports kitchen operations by maintaining a clean workstation and working efficiently during peak hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook food items using fryer and grill stations according to recipes and portion standards
Ensure food is cooked to proper temperature and quality standards
Set up and stock fryer and grill stations with required supplies
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, equipment, and utensils
Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations at all times
Monitor food quality and report any issues to the supervisor or kitchen manager
Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning equipment
Work as part of a team to ensure timely order preparation during busy periods
Minimize food waste and follow proper food handling procedures
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience as a line cook, fryer cook, or grill cook preferred
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong time management and multitasking skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift kitchen supplies as needed
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Work Conditions:
Fast-paced kitchen environment
Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required
Standing for extended periods and exposure to heat
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
