We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Your expertise in food preparation and cooking will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality
Assist with meal preparation and presentation for service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management
Participate in training new kitchen staff as needed
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment
Previous experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is preferred
A passion for serving quality meals and providing excellent customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 22 - 40 per week
