, home of the famous Mahoney, is looking to add some experienced Line Cook's to our culinary teams.

Job Overview


We are seeking a couple of dedicated, skilled Line Cooks to join our culinary teams at both the

Gorge

(123 Gorge Rd E) location as well as the

James Bay

(425 Quebec St) location.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for food preparation and cooking, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the efficiency and cleanliness of the kitchen.

Responsibilities



Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and plating guides. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining quality and presentation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment with an emphasis on CAYG mentality Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours

Experience



Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, especially breakfast eggs-perience*!
Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. Slicers, robot-coupe, griddles, fryers, immersion blenders, etc. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Valid Foodsafe is a must! Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. We are a high-volume establishment. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Pay: $21.50-$23.00 per hour
