We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
Ideal candidate has access to car and preferably live in the Vaughan area
Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment
Serve dishes promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure health standards are met
Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supply needs
Experience
Previous 2 years experience in food industry roles such as restaurant or kitchen work is preferred
Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
Experience in serving or meal preparation is necessary
Knowledge of food handling procedures and sanitation standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow directions accurately
