Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety, with experience in fine dining and menu planning. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring excellent food service to our guests. The Line Cook will play a vital part in delivering a memorable dining experience through culinary excellence and attention to detail.

Duties



Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Assist with menu planning and daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with food handling regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools Support food plating and presentation to meet restaurant quality standards Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for replenishment Follow dietary guidelines and accommodate special dietary requests when necessary Assist with catering events or special functions as needed

Experience



Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably in fine dining or catering settings Strong culinary skills, including knife skills, meal preparation, and food safety practices Experience with menu planning, food presentation, and food handling procedures Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment Familiarity with the food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and sanitation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
