Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly in compliance with food safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests or servers Follow all health and safety guidelines to uphold food safety standards Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing multiple orders simultaneously Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
