Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and storage areas. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with ordering as needed. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices. Uphold high standards of quality control for all dishes served.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry, preferably within fine dining or catering settings. Strong culinary skills with proficiency in cooking techniques and knife skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Experience in meal preparation, menu planning, and food service operations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
