Summary

This position is essential for maintaining our high standards of food quality and service, contributing directly to our commitment to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure high levels of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Assist in menu planning and meal preparation for various events. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper food handling practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages as needed. Participate in training new staff members on food preparation techniques.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or hotel environment. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations. Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Good communication skills for interacting with guests and team members. Previous experience in the food industry is an asset but not mandatory. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
